Big Girl Bed

So around Molly's three year birthday, she decided it was time to make the change to a big girl bed.  In Molly's words in the video below....

She was so excited to take apart her bed so she could get in and out of it by herself.  We had to have a long conversation about how if she decided to get out of bed and wander around the house, that we would have to change it back to a crib.  Of course, this was met with a big frowny face and very sincere promises to stay in bed at night.  A picture before we got started.

Molly had to take some of the screws out herself with the tools....

Front rail taken off and ready to put the mattress back in!  She's yelling here "Tada! look at my BIG girl bed!"

Testing it out when we were all done.  She's really enjoyed it and every night, is adamant that she climbs into bed by herself.
